The active substance Lamisil 1% Cream works by inhibiting an enzyme called cGMP-specific ‘cGMP-specific cGMP-Absorbableaggregabulator’. This prevents the synthesis of cGMP, which increases levels of other active compounds (fungogens) in the body and slows down the healing process.
The usual dose is one tube about 1-2 hours before you are anticipated to have a fungal infection. The cream should be applied to the affected area and let dry for at least 4 hours before you go.
